Forge a password hackers can't crack
What it does. Password Forge scores a typed password live, length, character variety, common-word checks, repeated characters, and turns the result into a plain-language crack-time estimate, from "under 1 second" to "billions of years."
Why crack time. "Make it stronger" doesn't mean much to most people. Watching a password with substitutions like P@ssw0rd! still crack in seconds, while a long random phrase takes billions of years, makes the reasoning behind password advice obvious instead of abstract.
It's a safe simulation. This tool never stores, transmits, or sees a real password, everything happens locally in the browser, and the on-page reminder to use a made-up example is intentional. It's built for practicing the judgment call, not for testing an actual account password.
