Should this app get what it's asking for?
What it does. The Permission Inspector simulates the install screen you see right before an app asks for camera access, contacts, location, and so on. Students go through the request list for a fictional app, decide which permissions actually make sense for what the app does, and see the consequences of getting it wrong.
Why it matters. Most people tap "Allow" on every permission prompt without reading it, because the request usually shows up right when you're excited to try something new. This tool slows that moment down and turns "does a flashlight app really need my contacts?" into a habit of pattern recognition instead of a one-time lecture.
It's a safe simulation. Every app, permission request, and outcome here is invented for the exercise. Nothing is actually installed, no real data is requested or collected, and there's no account behind any of it, just a space to practice the judgment call before it matters on a real device.
