What it does. Large patterns, a full-sheet sign, a big stencil, a pattern bigger than any single sheet of material, don't fit on one CNC bed or one piece of stock. This tool slices an oversized SVG into bed-sized panels and adds interlocking finger or puzzle-piece tabs at every seam, so the pieces line up and join cleanly once they're cut.
Why it exists. Tiling a large design by hand, figuring out where the cuts fall, adding matching joints so panels align, is finicky work that's easy to get wrong on a first try. This automates the layout math so students can focus on the design instead of the seams.
Where it fits. Built for CNC routing and large-format templates, this is a companion to the site's 3D printing tools: same maker workshop, different machine. Everything is exported as SVG, ready to bring straight into CNC or laser cutting software.
